Terms of service
The terms that will govern use of OneTime, once they are approved and published.
Draft: not in effect
This page shows the structure of a policy that has not been approved or published, and its text is pending review by a qualified lawyer. It is not a legal agreement and creates no rights or obligations.
What is already true
- OneTime verifies the origin and provenance of digital media. It does not verify the truth of its content.
- Absence of a OneTime credential is absence of evidence, not evidence that media is false.
- Proof of control of a social account is not verification of legal identity.
- A check on this website compares the file’s fingerprint and Content Credentials ID with OneTime’s own signed records. It does not validate the file’s own C2PA signature in your browser, or credentials from other signers.
